EDUCATION 2010, the 12th International Exhibition on Education, will be held from 19 to 21 March at Olympic Fencing Centre, Hellinikon.
EDUCATION, the only complete exhibition on education in Greece, is a premier event of international appeal running under the aegis of the Greek Ministry of Education, Lifelong Learning & Religious Affairs, the General Secretariat for Youth and the Municipality of Athens.
EDUCATION presents, in a vivid and organised way to more than 20,000 visitors, a wide range of public and private educational institutes, of all levels, operating in Greece and overseas. More than 250 educational institutes and organisations from Greece and 14 other countries participate offering direct and accurate information on educational programmes offered on udergraduate and post-graduate level, as well as life-long education and training programmes, foreign languages, seminars etc. Exhibitors include Greek and foreign Universities, Technological Educational Institutes, Military Schools, Colleges, Schools for Vocational Training, Embassies and Cultural Institutes and many more.
Greece is one of the largest exporter of students globally. The exhibition aims at supporting students’ need to receive information and be able to compare between alternative study destinations. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to meet important educational institutes, organisations and Embassies offering information on programmes offered in Bulgaria, China, Cyprus, France, Great Britain, Italy, Spain, Switzerland, The Netherlands, Turkey and the United States of America.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to attend, Stadiodromio – Job Festival, a series of parallel events, including round table discussions, workshops and presentations on education, career and employment.
Following the notable participations of France, Germany, the U.S.A., Italy and Cyprus in previous years, the Country of Honour in 2010 is Holland.
The attendance of the exhibition and the parallel events is free of charge.
